Description:

North America, Native American, Late Archaic to early Woodland periods, ca. 2000 BCE to 200 CE. Two large and wonderful stone spear points, hand-knapped from a light-brown chert with dark inclusions, and both with minute serrations along their respective blade edges. The larger stone has a narrow but thick tang, its shape being more symmetrical than that of the smaller point. The smaller stone is slightly asymmetrical, though its lightweight composition would make it easier to wield on the end of a pole. Size of largest: 5.625" L (14.3 cm).
