Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. Two hand-built standing female terracotta figures, nude save for applied headdresses and ear ornaments, one with arms folded across her protruding perhaps pregnant belly, the other with arms raised to her neck, both with breasts and genitalia emphasized and perforations through neckline for suspension or attachment. Wonderful examples from this shaft tomb culture. Size: taller figure measures 5.75" H (14.6 cm)
