Description:

East Asia, China, late Qing Dynasty, ca. 19th century CE. A massive pair of matching pottery candelabra glazed in a beautiful jade green. Each candelabrum rests on tripodal feet that reveals its hollow interior. The tiered stem supports three sconce arms with deep sockets for candles, and the arms and stems are textured with raised circular appliques. Below the rim of each sconce is a fan-shaped applique, and at the center of each candelabrum is a floral or sunburst medallion. These candelabra are still quite functional, and their overall presentation is quite impressive! Size: 10" W x 19.75" H (25.4 cm x 50.2 cm)
