Ancient Persia/Iran, ca. 3rd-6th century CE. Nice hematite stamp-seal. Engraved with three goat heads. Perforation for suspension indicates may have been used as an amulet. Ancient Sumeria, between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers (known as the "Fertile Crescent") Ca 3rd millennium BCE (3000 to 2250 BCE). Oblong greenstone seal with figural representation of a deity. Very saturated green hues. Perforation from top to bottom for suspension indicates may have been used as an amulet.
