  • Condition: Losses to quills on both and fading to dyed pigments. Leather on toe and around ankle is stiff, but tongue and lacing is still somewhat supple. Staining and discoloration as shown. Exterior soles are possibly an old replacement and still have some hairs from the animal attached. The sole condition does not seem consistent with the wear to the rest of the upper leather and quills. Fair to good antique condition, and desirable due to use of quills!
