Description:

Pre-Columbian, Mexico to Central America, Olmec to Aztec period, ca. 300 BCE to 1521 CE; A stone labret or lip plug made of jet-black obsidian, a pretty mottled greenstone bead, and a large animal tooth. The tooth is from a predatory creature and since it is included with Pre-Columbian artifacts we suspect it is from a wild feline such as an ocelot or young jaguar, but that is only speculation, and could be from any number of animals or time periods. Size of tooth: 2.25" L x 0.6" W (5.7 cm x 1.5 cm); labret: 1.1" L x 0.75" W x 0.5" H (2.8 cm x 1.9 cm x 1.3 cm)
