Near East, Persia (Iran), Nishapur, ca. late 10th century to early 13th century CE. The pottery is a coarse, light color, and the glaze which extends about half-way down the body's exterior walls as well, has developed marvelous silvery iridescence over time, especially on the tondo where the glaze pooled during the firing process.
