Description:

Ancient Seas, ca. 2 million years ago. A large tooth from an ancient megalodon shark which exhibits several fine characteristics of the fossilization process. The triangular enamel section has developed lustrous layers of creamy yellow and tan hues with spots of beige and still retains many of its individual serrations that can still be felt with a finger. Both the lower and upper enamel have developed several stable fissures, and the root has a coarse texture with areas of light pitting. Size: 4.2" W x 5" H (10.7 cm x 12.7 cm); 5.25" H (13.3 cm) on included custom stand.
