Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Central America, and/or South America, ca. 500 BCE to 1500 CE. A gorgeous necklace of wearable form that is constructed with hundreds of stone, shell, and bone beads. The colorful composition exhibits hues of pink, green, blue, red, white, yellow, brown, black, and orange, and suspended from the middle is a carved marine shell pendant in the shape of a frog. Size (necklace): 26" L (66 cm); (frog pendant): 0.76" L x 1.89" W x 2.10" H (1.9 cm x 4.8 cm x 5.3 cm)
