Description:

Pre-Columbian, South Coast of Peru, Nazca culture, ca. 200 to 500 CE. A hand-built pottery drinking vessel called a kero with a convex but stable base, a flared rim, and tall walls. The stone-burnished exterior surfaces are adorned with several bifurcated circles, perhaps bean pods or another phytomorphic form, colored with black, white, red, and orange pigment. Size: 5.1" W x 3.375" H (13 cm x 8.6 cm)
