Description:

Pre-Columbian, South Coast Peru, Nazca, ca. 250 BCE to 400 CE. A hand-built and highly-burnished pottery bowl of a wide form with a round but stable base, flared walls with a thin rim, and a shallow basin. The interior and exterior of the walls are painted with a russet-hued pigment, and the recessed basin boasts four cream-hued panels filled with either black zigzags or red concentric Vs. Size: 8.4" Diameter x 2.625" H (21.3 cm x 6.7 cm).
