Description:

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, Chinesco type, Protoclassic Period, ca. 100 BCE to 250 CE. A hand-built pottery model of a hut / house sans walls, with a steepled roofline topped by a conical element. The orange-hued structure features a quartet of conical legs beneath the rectangular base, and a slightly larger roof is suspended by four tubular columns, and the ridges along the roof are embellished with applied white pigment. Size: 3.8" L x 5.125" W x 6.9" H (9.7 cm x 13 cm x 17.5 cm)
