Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built pottery figure of a seated warrior with bent legs and a third support leg on the verso. The figure leans forward while grasping a lengthy club in both hands, and the exterior surfaces are adorned with ample red and light yellow-beige pigment. Size: 3.75" L x 4.5" W x 8.6" H (9.5 cm x 11.4 cm x 21.8 cm)
