Description:

Thomas (Tommy) Singer (Native American, Dine (Navajo), 1940 to 2014) Silver, leather & turquoise bolo tie, ca. late 20th to 21st century CE. A handsome and large bolo tie with a sterling silver oval sliding pendant and a turquoise cabochon, mounted on a thick, braided leather cord with a hook clasp. The terminal ends of the cord are capped by conical and etched cylindrical finials with dangling squash blossoms. The verso of the centerpiece medallion is stamped "THOMAS / SINGER / STERLING" and a hand etched "DON" below, possibly from a previous owner. Excellent and wearable condition! Size of leather cord: 39" L (99.1 cm); medallion pendant: 3.5" L x 2.9" W (8.9 cm x 7.4 cm); silver quality: 93% to 94%.
