Wilbert Benally (Native American, Dine (Navajo), 20th century CE) Sterling Silver Cuff, ca. 1940s CE. A wearable and handmade bracelet by Navajo silversmith Wilbert Benally, made from sterling silver with a multi stone row across the cuff. The polished cabochons are set in sawtooth bezels and include white nacre shell, coral, malachite, blue and teal enamel, and quartz. A safety chain with a push clasp spans the cuff opening, and the interior band is stamped "Sterling / WB." Size: 2.5" Diameter x 0.8" W (6.4 cm x 2 cm); gap opening: 1.3" L (3.3 cm); silver quality: 92.6% to 93.4%; weight: 43 grams
