Native American, Western United States, Plains, likely Cheyenne or Arapaho, ca. mid-20th century CE. A vintage pair of beaded hide moccasins with a bald eagle on the upper toe box and chevron motifs along the sides. The eagle is not a traditional pattern type, so perhaps these date to the mid-20th century; intended for use at powwows or other events or as sale items. Size: 10" L x 3.5" W x 2.75" H (25.4 cm x 8.9 cm x 7 cm)
