Native American, North America, Eastern Woodland, ca. 200 to 1000 CE. A lovely hand-knapped chert stone tool of rectangular form with a flat base and tapered tip. Naturally embellished in mottled hues of umber, sienna, and taupe, the ancient implement's convex faces are flaked to form a sharpened edge.
