Native American, Southern USA, Transitional Archaic period, ca. 1st millennium CE. A large, broad, bi-face, knapped from dark grey chert, with a flattened cross section. It curves in at the tip; the base is slightly curved outward. The flaking pattern is random. Blades of this kind are often found in central Texas. Size: 3.35" W x 4.95" H (8.5 cm x 12.6 cm)
