Native American, Eastern to Midwestern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 500 to 1500 CE. A set of 2 hand-carved stone weapons including a three-quarter groove axe head and a triangular spear head with a thick tail. Both of these tools were likely used extensively for utilitarian or hunting purposes based on their surface wear. Size (spear tip): 6.375" L x 3.75" W x 0.75" H (16.2 cm x 9.5 cm x 1.9 cm); (axe head): 5.375" L x 2.2" W x 2.8" H (13.7 cm x 5.6 cm x 7.1 cm)
