Over-life size head of a youthful deity wearing an elaborate headdress decorated with several vertical rows of small feather type elements and large spiral shell elements. Wearing disc ear ornaments and a ball labret.   A very rare and impressive example.  Size:  15-1/2" H x 13" W Provenance: Ex-private Hollywood, CA Collection, Ex-Denver Art Museum, reference # 1965-208, acquired 1965.
