Description:

Pre-Columbian, North Coast of Peru, Moche, Phase V, ca. 600 to 800 CE. A pottery stirrup vessel, created in a bivalve mold, depicting a tiered temple structure decorated with white and red pigment. The four-armed structure features sloping lower walls as well as trapezoidal overhangs while a stirrup-shaped handle and a distinctly tapered spout project above. Size: 4.6" L x 4.5" W x 8.9" H (11.7 cm x 11.4 cm x 22.6 cm)
