A superb portrait pendant depicting the visage of a commanding Lord King and comprised of gilded copper that has been skillfully hammered in repousse and inlaid with white shell, lapis lazuli eyes, and turquoise ear ornaments – the visage is further adorned with a banded headdress that possesses a slit on each side once used for suspension or attachment.
