Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Oaxaca, Mixtec people, ca. 900 to 1200 CE. A sturdy copper celt covered in mottled brown and green patina. The celt bears an elongated rectangular body with a pair of protruding points on one end as well as raised ridges along the lateral peripheries. Lucite display stand for photography purposes only.
