Description:

Pre-Columbian, Gulf Coast of Mexico, Veracruz, ca. 3rd to 7th century CE. A hand-carved greenstone figurine of miniature size. The anthropomorphic figure features attenuated limbs, string-cut grooves for the eyes and mouth, and a planar brow with a pair of nubbin ears projecting from the temples. Size: 0.34" L x 0.78" W x 1.40" H (0.9 cm x 2 cm x 3.6 cm); 1.67" H (4.2 cm) on included custom stand.
