Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A gracefully sculpted ceramic foot, a fragment from a larger sculpture, that is adorned with a strap with a large boss on it. The foot would have once had a sandal and been part of a larger statue. Size: 2.95" L x 1.5" W x 1.85" H (7.5 cm x 3.8 cm x 4.7 cm); 3" H (7.6 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: East Coast collection, New York Gallery, New York City, New York, USA, acquired before 2010
