Description:

**First Time At Auction**

Ancient Rome, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A teeny, tiny, free-blown glass vessel of light green hues with marvelous rainbow iridescence - its diminutive size suggests that it was used to store exceedingly precious fragrant oil or perfume in a lady's toilette. Its form is comprised of a bulbous body with decorated indentations, a tubular neck, and folded rim, all on a dimpled base. Lovely in so many ways! Size: 1.125" W x 1.625" H (2.9 cm x 4.1 cm)
