Native American, North America, Southwestern United States, New Mexico, Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), Tularosa, ca. 900 to 1450 CE. A miniature pottery pitcher of spherical form with a slender neck and a protruding, rod-form thumb rest or finger rest. The white-ground exterior is decorated with stripe-filled bands, spiraling tendrils, and stepped blocks that mirror one another. Size: 3.25" L x 2.9" W x 3.3" H (8.3 cm x 7.4 cm x 8.4 cm)

Abrasions and craquelure, with light earthen deposits, and fading to scattered areas of original pigment, otherwise in nice condition. Nice motifs across exterior.
