Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A set of 4 hand-built pottery female figures, each known as a "pretty lady" and each being of an unusual miniature size. The figures each present with remains of red and white pigment adorning their front surfaces, perhaps to accentuate their femininity. Size: 0.5" L x 1" W x 2.2" H (1.3 cm x 2.5 cm x 5.6 cm)

Provenance: ex-collection of the late Peter Arnovick, San Francisco, California, USA, acquired before 1995
