Description:

Greek, Athens, Late Attic, ca. 375 to 350 BCE. A lovely miniature single-handled kantharos with a meticulously ribbed body, a short neck that flares at the top to an incurved rim, and a loop handle with a projecting tapering thumb rest projecting from the rim. The foot presents torus molding, red washed lines on the moldings, and is concave below with a grooved red washed surface. A stunning vessel with an unusual single-handled form, presenting near mirror-like luster! Size: 2.625" W x 2.75" H (6.7 cm x 7 cm)
