Central Asia, Tibet or Nepal, ca. 1960s CE. A beautiful vintage necklace made from orange agate stones and turquoise beads, with a disc pendant at the center. The strand is symmetrically strung with alternating rectangular agate beads, flanked by smaller agate stones, and turquoise nuggets. The pendant has incised floral motifs on both faces and openwork linear shapes around the outer edge. The terminal tips are strung with a sterling silver toggle clasp, and this necklace is wearable! Size of strand: 20.5" L (52.1 cm); pendant size: 2.125" Diameter (5.4 cm)
