Description:

North America, southwestern United States, probably New Mexico, ca. mid-20th century CE. A hand-built chest constructed with several wooden planks to emulate the design of a transportation train car from the BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp.) Railway Company. The rectangular chest is decorated with company labels, load capacity indicators, and car dimensions atop a vibrant red base color and has a slender ventilation panel atop the hinged lid. Steel ladder rungs and undercarriage wiring give the train car an authentic presentation, and eight gray wheels enable the chest to be easily moved. Inside the lid are illustrations of military tanks drawn by a child. Size: 53.2" L x 12.2" W x 19.75" H (135.1 cm x 31 cm x 50.2 cm)
