Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Michoacan, ca. 500 BCE to 300 CE; North Coast Peru, Moche, ca. 400 to 800 CE; Central Coast Peru, Chimu, ca. 1100 to 1470 CE. A gathering of 2 hand-built pottery vessels as well as a textile fragment constructed with tightly woven camelid fibers. The Michoacan bottle has a slender, egg-shaped body with a tapered spout and incised striations, and the Moche canteen has a carinated body with a minimalist feline as one of the handles. The Chimu textile fragment features 4 full and 2 partial panels with concentric stepped motifs in red and yellow hues. Size of largest (Moche canteen): 6.1" W x 7" H (15.5 cm x 17.8 cm)
