Mexico, ca. mid-20th century CE. This is a stunning carved and painted mask depicting a youthful face with a prominent nose and pink, full lips. This piece was exhibited at the Mexican Masks of the 20th Century: A Living Tradition show at the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey. Size: 6.75" W x 8.75" H (17.1 cm x 22.2 cm).

Provenance: The Tryworks Collection compiled by the Rev. Richard and Jean Kellaway of Fairhaven, MA.
