Ancient Near East, Mesopotamia, Jemdet Nasr, ca. 3100 to 2900 BCE. A hand-carved stone cylinder seal of tan and beige hues with original white caliche still on most surfaces. The delicate engravings depict a garden archway with floral components surrounding it as well as both linear and geometric motifs around the circumference. Custom putty impression included. Size: 1.52" L x 0.43" W x 1.41" H (3.9 cm x 1.1 cm x 3.6 cm)
