Pre-Columbian, Mayan Territories, Postclassic period, ca. 900 to 1519 CE. A deep pottery bowl created using the coil technique. In a well-known Maya style, bright red paint rings the rim on the interior and exterior. The interior is painted a cheerful, warm orange; the exterior, below two narrow black bands below the rim, is a paler orange. Size: 6.9" W x 4.5" H (17.5 cm x 11.4 cm)

Provenance: Ex-Harvey Collection, acquired prior to 1972
