An attractive Mayan cylinder with subtle entasis and painted red rim, the walls decorated with negative resist textile-inspired designs comprised of wavy cross-hatching in natural hues enveloping a series of brown diamond-shaped forms, each with a circle containing a dot, perhaps representing an egg or seed. Size: 5-1/2"H x 4-1/4" in diameter. Provenance: Ex P.
