**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Yucatan Peninsula region, Mayan, late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A hand-built pottery bowl with a circular base and three petite feet, gradually-expanding walls, a thick rim, and a shallow basin. Inside the basin are a pair of orange-hued spirals which have faded over time. Traces of the vessel's original brown pigmentation are still visible along the rim and walls. Size: 2.5" W x 9.875" H (6.4 cm x 25.1 cm).
