Description:

Ancient Seas, Middle Miocene to end of Pliocene eras, ca. 28 to 2.6 million years ago. An enormous Megalodon tooth that has formed lustrous beige, gray, and brown hues due to fossilization. The lustrous enamel still retains some serrations while the thick root is still largely intact. This is a massive tooth and clearly shows why these sharks inspire such speculation about their extinction and fear of what is below the ocean's surface. Megalodon was the largest shark and one of the largest fish to ever exist, their jaws capable of crushing a small car! Size: 6.1" L x 4.125" W x 6.25" H (15.5 cm x 10.5 cm x 15.9 cm)
