A lovely burnished orange terracotta pitcher boasting a long, graceful spout of an abstract avian form and a loop handle decorated with a mythological animal with applied bulging eyes and a pointy snout from the Marlik region of the Gohar valley in the province of Gilan in Iran. Despite its minimalist aesthetic, this vessel is quite pleasing for its animorphic forms and attractive silhouette. Size: 10" W x 6.75" H (25.4 cm x 17.1 cm)
