Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A stunning electrum bracelet cuff with triangular and planished tips before the opening gap, the thick wire is made from a 52% gold (equivalent to 12K+) and silver 34%, with granulation around the bezel. The recessed bezel lip may have once contained a precious stone or glass inlay, and the other terminal has a faint line where a bezel or granulated decoration could have been applied. The cuff is a petite size that would have been able to fit on a smaller wrist of a woman or child.
