North America, Pacific Northwest Coast, ca. second quarter of 20th century to early 21st century CE. A set of 8 hand-carved wooden totem poles of classic Northwest Coast design. Six of the totem poles are of relatively modern creation without artist signatures that display wondrous, stylized animals including birds and bears. Two of the totem poles are matching Thunderbirds and are dated on the backsides to 1936. Size: 1.375" L x 1.1" W x 12.125" H (3.5 cm x 2.8 cm x 30.8 cm); 13.875" H (35.2 cm) on included custom stand.
