Highlights of the ensemble include a pair of miniature Mezcala figurines showing wonderfully, stylized abstractions of the human form characteristic of the Mezcala artisans; a large greenstone Mezcala visage and five complementary smaller Mezcala examples also in greenstone; finally a pair of exquisite miniature Costa Rican amulets, one assuming the form of an extended hand. Ranging in size from 3 1/4"W x 2"H (the largest) to 1"L x 3/8"W (smallest) . Provenance: Ex-Gilbert Martin Collection, Atlanta, GA.
