Description:

Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd centuries CE. Interesting selection of 7 bronze medical tools showing the level of medical skill and technology almost 2000 years ago. Included in the group are tweezers, scoops, probes, scalpel, retraction hook and spoon. Most likely this grouping would have been used by field surgeons that followed the Roman army as it fought its way from Britain to Asia Minor. Perfect for the doctor in your life!
