Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, ca. 400 to 600 CE. Ensemble of five copper lime spoons, used to snort lime powder in order to enhance hallucinogenic properties of other drugs. Four of the spoons are topped with bird forms; the fifth is topped with a serpent form. Snake topped and largest bird topped spoon is 3 1/4"L. Another bird topped spoon is 2 3/4"L, another 2 1/2"L, another 2 1/4"L.
