Native American, Midwestern and Eastern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 500 to 1500 CE. A conglomeration of 4 hand-carved stone tools, each of heavily-used utilitarian form. Two of the stone are hand axes - one having a three-quarter groove around the midsection, and the other with a full groove. The remaining 2 tools are double-sided hammer stones, each with a full groove around the midsection. Size of largest: 4.875" L x 3.375" W x 2.8" H (12.4 cm x 8.6 cm x 7.1 cm)
