Egypt, Late Period, ca. 664 - 332 BCE. A set of four faience amulets including the god Bes depicted in blue, legs open, arms on thighs, and large crown on head; Horus, the falcon God and son of Isis and Osiris, carved in stone and seated on a throne; a standing Taweret, the hippo-goddess and protector of childbirth and fertility, with hands clenched at side and facing forward; and Babi, the baboon god, depicting resting on all fours, with delicately carved hair and facial details. 3/4"H - 1-3/4".
