Description:

Northern Europe, Denmark, Neolithic Period, ca. 3900 to 1700 BCE. A quartet of fine stone hand tools which have been hand-knapped from chert of grey, crimson, caramel, and citrine hues. One tool has a rough, convex handle with a sharpened blade edge below. A lengthy chisel has a stocky butt end, a thick handle, and a narrow blade edge. Third is a small hand axe with a thick butt and incredibly smooth blade faces. Last is a small, crescent-shaped knife blade with sharpened edges on both sides. An intriguing collection of early European stone tools! Size of largest (chisel): 0.75" W x 5.5" H (1.9 cm x 14 cm).
