Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A fine gathering of three cast-bronze key rings with thick shanks, sturdy shoulders, and oblong heads. One key ring has a simple rectangular key face with a petite groove. Another key ring has a more complex key face with several rods protruding from a central body. The largest ring has a phallic ornament projecting from the top. Size of largest (phallic head): 1" W x 1.25" H (2.5 cm x 3.2 cm)

Provenance: ex-Slg. Uwe Dams collection, Oberpfalz, Germany, acquired between 1975 and 2000
