Native American, Central Oregon, Paulina Creek, pre-Archaic period, ca. 7000 BP (5000 BCE). A lovely ensemble of three hand-knapped stone arrowheads of the Cascade type, all boasting petaloid forms with sharp points, elliptical cross sections, and convex faces that taper to cutting edges. Two present lustrous black surfaces, while the other exhibits a hue of ash grey. Fit with a custom frame, these fascinating examples are accompanied by an informative document containing details about where they were found in September 1989. Size of largest: 2.375" L x 0.875" W (6 cm x 2.2 cm); Size of frame: 7.875" W x 12" H (20 cm x 30.5 cm)
