Description:

Native American, Eastern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 500 to 1500 CE. A set of 3 hand-carved club heads, each varying in size and form. The first piece features faint remains of red pigment while the second club head is made from incredibly porous stone, and both have a three-quarter groove carved around the midsection. The largest piece features corseted side notches and 1 rounded head, likely the striking side. Size of largest: 5.6" L x 3.75" W x 1.2" H (14.2 cm x 9.5 cm x 3 cm)
